Town of Wayland Public Library/Council on Aging and Community Center

Mr. Linsky of Natick moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 1599-0026, in line 6, by inserting after the word “Fund" the following: “; provided further, not less than $100,000 shall be expended to purchase emergency generators at the Wayland Public Library and the Wayland Council on Aging and Community Center, which serve as heating/cooling shelters for the community during times of emergency and during extreme weather conditions and power outages brought about by climate change”.
