Amendment #699 to H5500

Rectify budget language that mistakenly implies that the U.S. Supreme Court ordered the closure of ICFs for people with developmental disabilities in the 1GGG decision Olmstead v. L.C

Mr. Vaughn of Wrentham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5930-1000, line 24, by striking out in its entirety clause (c) and inserting in place thereof the following:- “(c) the steps taken to consolidate or close an ICF/IID and the steps taken to inform families of the choices available for residential care including ICF care.”
