Amendment #710 to H5500

Poet Laureate

Representatives Garballey of Arlington, Domb of Amherst, Owens of Watertown, Ciccolo of Lexington, Gordon of Bedford, Luddy of Orleans and Vieira of Falmouth move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 0640-0300, in line 10, by inserting after “unit” the following:- “; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended as an honorarium to the official Poet Laureate of Massachusetts pursuant to executive order number 640”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$27,348,072" and inserting in place thereof the figures “$27,373,072”.
