Amendment #845 to H5500

funding for Early College Program

Mr. Roy of Franklin moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item XXXX-XXXX the following item:

“1596-2510 for the funding of the expansion of the Early College Initiative, provided that not later than April 1, 2027, the executive office of education shall provide a summary of the current and planned allocations of funds through this item to the joint committee on education and the house and senate committees on ways and means; provided further, that appropriated funds may be expended for programs or activities during the summer months……………… $6,000,000”
