Ayer Residents PFAS Study

Mr. Sena of Acton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2250-2000, after the words “public school drinking water” by adding the following:

"provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for the Silent Spring Institute to continue their study of the long term effects of PFAS on residents in Ayer, including supporting epidemiological analyses, reconstructing past exposures to PFAS drinking water, and disseminating study findings to community members and presenting health-related resources to clinicians; and in said item by striking out the figures “$XXX,XXX,XXX" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$XXX,XXX,XXX+$25,000".”
