Quincy Council on Aging Community Plates Program

Mr. Ayers of Quincy moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 9110-9002, by adding at the end the following: “provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the Quincy Council on Aging for the implementation of ‘Community Plates: Grab & Go Goodness for Healthy Aging,’ a twice-monthly meal distribution initiative to address food insecurity and promote healthy aging among older adults, including costs associated with meal preparation, distribution, storage, and nutrition education materials;” and in said item by striking out the figures “$29,522,592” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$29,547,592.”
