Amendment #974 to H5500

Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women

Mr. Vieira of Falmouth moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX. Section 1.  Subsection 3 of section 66 of chapter 9 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “June 2” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “July 31”.

Section 2.  Subsection 6(b) of section 66 of chapter 3 of the Generals Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following clause:- “Said account may be an interest bearing account.  Any interest earned on the assets of the account shall also be credited to said account.”.
