Mr. Michlewitz of Boston and others move to amend H.5500 in section 2, in item 0321-1600, by inserting after the word “representation” the following words:- ; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended to the Massachusetts Association of Mental Health for an awareness campaign focused on the screening, early diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment and medication for sleep and wakefulness disorders, and their behavioral health and medical comorbidities; provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended to the University of Massachusetts School of Law for the South Coast Bridge Program for Legal Professionals to provide mentorship and professional development;

And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$52,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $52,200,000

And further amend said section 2, in item 0330-0300, by inserting after the words “under chapter 260 of the acts of 2014” the following words:- ; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for Cambridge Somerville Legal Services within Greater Boston Legal Services, Inc.

provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the town of Auburn police department for public safety equipment and programs; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the town of Wilmington for traffic mitigation planning, surveying and construction of pedestrian and road safety infrastructure on the property of and roads adjacent to public schools in the town of Wilmington; provided further, that not less than $150,000 be expended to the town of Stoneham police department for gear and facility upgrades; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the city of Fitchburg police department for report, roll call and training room upgrades; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the town of Randolph police department for portable radios and emergency communications upgrades; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the city of Revere for Revere fire department fleet maintenance and acquisition; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the town of Westford police department for a wellness center; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the city of Boston for the payroll costs of the Boston police department for dedicated patrols of the Foley apartments, Monsignor Powers apartments and West 9th Street apartments in the South Boston section of the city of Boston; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the town of Pembroke police department for law enforcement equipment upgrades; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the town of Easton fire department; and provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the city of Waltham police department for public safety initiatives

And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $2,498,500

And further amend said section 2, in item 8100-1001, by inserting after the word “parkways” the following words:- ; provided further, that not less than $1,200,000 shall be expended for the payroll costs of the department of state police directed patrols; provided further, that not less than $30,000 of said funds shall be expended for Troop A of the department of state police to conduct mounted, directed patrols throughout Revere beach, the Lynn Fells and the Middlesex Fells Reservation park among other identified areas; provided further, that subject to appropriation communities receiving funds for directed patrols in fiscal year 2008 shall receive an equal disbursement of funds in proportion to the current appropriation in fiscal year 2024; provided further, that funds shall be expended for directed patrols at Constitution beach in the East Boston section of the city of Boston; provided further, that not less than $95,000 of said funds shall be expended for additional patrols for the summer season at Wollaston beach and Furnace Brook parkway in the city of Quincy; provided further, that not less than $95,000 shall be expended for department of state police patrols in the Wollaston beach and Quincy Shore drive area and Furnace Brook parkway of the city of Quincy from May 31 to September 1; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for department of state police patrols and traffic enforcement functions on the Harry Truman parkway, Neponset Valley parkway and Dedham parkway in the Hyde Park section of the city of Boston; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for directed patrols in the South Boston section of the city of Boston including, but not limited to, Day boulevard, Carson beach, M Street beach, Marine park and Castle Island

And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$406,348,479” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $407,718,479

And further amend said section 2, in item 8324-0000, by inserting after the words “education program” the following words:- ; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to the town of Holbrook for the Holbrook Regional Emergency Communication Center; provided further, that not less than $1,700,000 shall be expended for the Boston fire department training academy to provide training and instruction for public safety agencies in the city of Boston and municipal and political subdivisions across the commonwealth; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for a municipal grant program administered by the fire marshal for firefighter cancer screenings including advanced blood testing and imaging

provided further, that not less than $20,000 shall be expended to the city known as the town of North Attleborough for firefighter gear, equipment or other related expenses; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the Westwood fire department for the Westwood fire station 1 project; provided further, that not less than $25,000  shall be expended to the Everett fire department for active shooter training; provided further, that not less than $60,000 shall be expended to the town of Dracut for the design of a rescue boat ramp for the Merrimack river in the town of Dracut; provided further, that not less than $15,000 shall be expended to the Ashby fire department for extracting equipment; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the Stoneham fire department for gear and equipment purchases and maintenance; provided further, that not less than $150,000 be expended to the town of Winchester for first responder and dispatch communication upgrades; provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended to the town of Weston for updates and modifications to a fire vehicle; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to the town of Weston for design funds for the fire department project; provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended to the town of Stow for new firefighting water cisterns; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the city known as the town of Winthrop for thermal imaging cameras and related equipment for the Winthrop fire department; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the city known as the town of Winthrop for required evidence room upgrades at the Winthrop police department; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the Norton fire department for safety gear and equipment replacements; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for rescue and water rescue training for the Hanson fire department and members of the Massachusetts Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team; and provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for the Andover fire rescue department for any costs related to a replacement vehicle and outfitting materials to support emergency response and firefighter safety

And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $1,916,000
