Amendment #232 to H5562

EMS Scope of Practice

Mr. Cahill of Lynn moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

SECTION X. Section 19 of chapter 111C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 16, after the words “chapter 111O” the words:-

; provided, however, that health care facilities licensed by the department are permitted to employ licensed or certified EMS personnel, working within the scope of their license or certification and under appropriate clinical oversight by a qualified physician licensed pursuant to section 2 of chapter 112
