Northern Berkshires Housing Rehabilitation Program

Mr. Barrett of North Adams moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7002-8087, by inserting after "grants" the following: "provided further, that $2,000,000 shall be expended to the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities to assist with the redevelopment, renovation, and site improvements of underutilized properties in the communities of the 1st Berkshire District for the purposes of providing additional housing capacity for first time homebuyers", and in said item by striking out the figures "100,000" and inserting in place thereof "2,100,000".
