Establishing A Working Group To Expand And Increase Access To The Wrentham Development Center

Mr. Vaughn of Wrentham moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:-

SECTION XXXX. There shall be established a working group to decide how to expand and increase access to the Wrentham Development Center.

SECTION XXXX. The working group shall consist of a Representative who represents a town that hosts state-run medical facility for the treatment of psychiatric and developmental disorders, appointed by the House Minority Leader; a Senator who represents a town that hosts state-run medical facility for the treatment of psychiatric and developmental disorders, appointed by the Senate President; Secretary Kate Walsh, or her designee; Commissioner of the Division of Asset Management and Maintenance; and (2) constituents that are a parent, guardian, or caretaker, of an individual currently residing in a state-run medical facility for the treatment of a psychiatric and/or developmental disorder, appointed by the Speaker of the House.

SECTION XXXX. The working group shall submit its report, along with any recommendations, one year from the passage of this act.
