Requiring a Competitive Bidding Process

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by striking the amendment in its entirety and inserting in place thereof the following:-

Mr. Jones of North Reading moves to amend the bill by inserting, after section 7, the following section:-

SECTION 8. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, any funds expended for the purpose of providing services through or related to families and pregnant women served by the emergency housing assistance program pursuant to section 30 of chapter 23B of the General Laws shall be subject to a competitive bidding process.
