DESE Young Men and Boys Educational Outcomes Study

Messrs. Moore and O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2A, in item 1596-2515, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be provided to the department of elementary and secondary education to study and make recommendations to improve outcomes for young men and boys in the commonwealth, including but not limited to, educational and career path improvements”; and by striking out the figure “$25,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$26,000,000”.
