Mr. Fernandes moves that the proposed new text be amended  in section 2A, in item 1596-2507, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $40,000 shall be expended for capital and equipment expenditures for the Volunteers of America Massachusetts, Inc. Plymouth Area Veterans Center to bridge gaps in public transportation to assistance programs and services for veterans”; and by striking out the figure $100,000 and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$140,000”.
