Mr. Driscoll moves that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following section:

"SECTION XX. Section 3A of Chapter 40A, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following new subsection after subsection (c):

(d) for the purposes of this section and guidelines promulgated thereunder, the Mattapan High Speed Line shall not be considered a rapid transit modality, nor shall the stops along said line be considered rapid transit stations or subway stations for the purposes of this section, and instead shall be considered an intermediate transportation modality."
