Adult Day Health Rates

Ms. Jehlen, Ms. Miranda and Messrs. Durant and Keenan move to amend the bill by inserting after section 65 the following section:-

"SECTION 65A. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, MassHealth shall maintain and pay base rates to providers of adult day health services at not less than the current rates of $106.32 for the basic level of service, $136.72 for the complex level of service and transportation rates not less than $28.56 for ambulatory service and $34.98 for wheelchair service until such time as MassHealth develops a rate structure that will impute actual costs into the rate structure and stabilize the overall financing structure of adult day health services and that does not result in the closure of any adult day health program.”.
