Distressed Hospital payments

Mr. Tarr moves to amend the bill by striking in item 4000-1202 the following:-"(I) the schedule of payments to hospitals under this item delineated by acute care hospital, hospital system and payment amount; and (II) each hospital’s intended use of funds provided under this item; and provided further, that eligible acute care hospitals shall provide the executive office with information necessary for the report" and inserting in place thereof the following:-

"(I) the schedule of payments to hospitals under this item delineated by acute care hospital, hospital system and payment amount; and (II) each hospital’s use of  funds provided under this item including the number of patients served and the type of services provided;(III) what measures the acute care hospital has taken to reduce its costs to be less reliant on supplemental payments and (IV) provided further, that eligible acute care hospitals shall  provide the executive office with information necessary for the report"
