Amendment #6 to S2543

Data Sharing Protection

Ms. Kilcoyne of Clinton moves to amend the bill in section 12 by inserting before the word “Business” in line 192 the following definitions:- 

“Abortion,” as defined in section 12k of chapter 112;

“Abortion-related health care services,” all supplies, care and services of a medical, behavioral health, mental health, surgical, psychiatric, therapeutic, diagnostic, preventative, rehabilitative or supportive nature relating to miscarriage management or the termination of a pregnancy;

and by striking out, in line 210, the words ““Reproductive health care services”, as defined in section 11I1/2 of chapter 12.”;

and by striking out each time it appears in subsection (b) the word “reproductive” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- abortion or abortion-related.
