Amendment #7 to S2543

Administrative Technical Changes

Mr. Vargas of Haverhill moves to amend the bill In section 12 in line 238 by inserting the following:

“(f) A business shall not be in violation of this section if it discloses, transfers or processes information solely for the purposes of payment, treatment or health care operations, as defined by 45 CFR 164.501.”
