Ensuring Department Support for Local Administrators

Messrs. Velis, Cronin and Collins move that the proposed new draft be amended in section 1, by inserting after line 32, the following:-

“(3) The department shall provide specific guidance to assist school administrators in responding to requests for exceptions, including template responses that explain the policy's basis in research regarding adolescent development, digital wellness, and educational outcomes.”;

and further, in line 33, by striking out “(3)”, and inserting in place thereof:- “(4)”.
