Mr. Connolly of Cambridge moves to amend the bill in section 3, in line 212, by inserting after "chapter" the following: "; provided further, such regulations shall provide a mechanism for the owner or operator of a public website, online service, online application, or mobile application to apply for an exemption from the definition of a social media platform upon a showing that said website, service, or application does not have addictive features.”.
