Clarifying Publicly Available Information

Ms. Rausch and Mr. Brady move that the proposed new draft be amended in section 1 by striking out, in line 103, the words “shall not include biometric data” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “shall not include: (i) biometric data; (ii) information that is collated and combined to create consumer profiles on publicly available or subscription-based websites; (iii) information that is made available for sale; (iv) inferences generated from such information; or (v) data about an individual that is created by combining personal data with publicly available information.”
