Prohibiting Surveillance Pricing

Messrs. Fernandes and Montigny move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after the word “crime” in line 145, the following words:-

“Surveillance pricing,” the use dynamic pricing that fluctuates based on conditions and is set by an algorithm to set the price of a specific good or service for individual consumers.

And by inserting after the word “minor” in line 355, the following words:-

"(vii) not engage in surveillance pricing."
