Employee Personal Data on Employer-Owned Devices

Ms.  Field of Taunton moves to amend the bill in Section 1, in line 203, by inserting after the words “including, but not limited to, passkeys.” the following:-

“Nothing in the definition of ‘sensitive data’ shall waive or release an employer from its bargaining obligations vis a vis the use of employer-owned devices and its impacts on employee terms and conditions of employment under state and federal labor relations law.”
