AI Training Consent

Ms. Uyterhoeven of Somerville moves to amend the bill in section 1, in line 326, by inserting after the words "concerning the consumer" the following: "(iv) the use of personal data for the purpose of training, developing, or improving an artificial intelligence or machine learning model or algorithm, unless such use is strictly necessary to provide or maintain a specific product or service requested by the consumer."
