Impersonation of Federal Law Enforcement

Ms. Edwards, Ms. Jehlen and Mr. Eldridge move that the proposed new text be amended in section 42, by striking out the words “or an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- "or federal law enforcement officer as defined in 18 U.S.C. s. 115(c)(1)"; and

By striking out section 43.
