Refugee Resettlement Agencies

Ms. Friedman, Messrs. Payano and Eldridge and Ms. Kennedy move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2 by inserting the following item:-

XXXX-XXXX For the resettlement agencies in the commonwealth that contract with the United States Department of State and federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to resettle refugees and immigrants to secure status adjustment for eligible clients in the Commonwealth with refugee or asylum status; provided further that funds may be used to support housing stabilization for populations served by the resettlement agencies.................... $6,000,000
