Entry into the Commonwealth by Non-federalized Armed Forces from Other Jurisdictions

Mr. Moore, Ms. Kennedy and Mr. Payano move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section __ the following section:-

“SECTION __. Chapter 33 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

Section 140. No armed military force from another state, territory, or district is permitted to enter the commonwealth of Massachusetts for the purpose of doing military duty therein, without the permission of the governor, unless such force has been called into active service of the United States, and is acting under authority of the president of the United States.”
