Delegation requirement

Mr. Tarr and Mrs. Dooner move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section _ the following section:-

"SECTION _. Section 15 of chapter 33 as appearing in the 2024 official edition is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following:-'The commander-in-chief may, in writing, delegate to the adjutant general any powers or duties vested in the commander-in-chief by law. The adjutant general may, in writing, delegate duties to subordinate officers; any delegation shall state its scope and duration and shall be filed with the executive office of public safety, the clerks of the house and senate and the joint committee on joint committee on public safety and homeland security.'."
