Public process on written policy

Mr. Tarr, Mrs. Dooner and Mr. Fattman move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting in line 39 after the word, "website" the following:-

"No written policy required under this section shall take effect until it has been approved by vote of the school committee following proper notice and a public hearing. Notice of such hearing shall be provided to parents and guardians of enrolled students at least 14 days in advance, and the hearing shall include an opportunity for public comment."
