Emergency Preamble

Mr. DiDomenico, Ms. Edwards and Mr. Payano move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting before the enacting clause the following preamble:-

“Whereas, the deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to further regulate reporting of contributions and expenditures for statewide ballot question campaigns, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.”
