Incorporated and Tax‑Exempt Entities in Statewide Ballot Question Campaigns

Mr. Tarr moves that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section _ the following sections:-

"SECTION_. Section 1 of chapter 55 as appearing in the 2024 official edition is hereby amended by inserting line 9 after the word, "amendment" the following:-"provided, that no incorporated or tax exempt organizations shall serve as a ballot question committee".

SECTION _. Section 1 of chapter 55 as appearing in the 20024 is hereby further amended by inserting in line 83 after the word, "contribution" the following:-(7) staff time, research, communication development and sponsorship, or other material assistance".
