Increasing Individual Contribution Limits to Candidate Committees

Mr. Tarr moves that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section _ the following section:-

"SECTION_. Section 7A of chapter 55 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in subsection (a), clause (1), each occurrence of the figure “$1,000” and inserting in place thereof, the following figure:— “$2,000.”
