Mr. Rodrigues moves that the proposed new draft be amended in section 2, by inserting after the words “subsection (a)”, in line 8, the following word:- of; and

by inserting after section 2 the following section:-

“SECTION 2A. Said subsection (a) of said section 18 of said chapter 55, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 12 and 13, the words “appears on ballots at a state election” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- is a statewide ballot question.”.
