Massachusetts Maritime Academy BRIGHT Act Amendment

Messrs. Fernandes and Cyr move that the proposed new text be amended  in section 2, in item 7066-8007, by adding the following words:- “; provided, that not less than $20,000,000 shall be expended for the Massachusetts Maritime Academy to expand and renovate the student wellness, recreation, and workforce development center; provided further, that the first phase of said project shall be the expansion of the center, which shall be sequenced prior to renovations to the existing structure”; and by striking out the figure “$1,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$21,000,000”.
