Messrs. Kennedy and Gómez, Ms. Edwards and Messrs. Eldridge and Payano moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, by inserting after item 7007-0032 the following item:-

7007-0036 For a competitive grant program to work with urban entrepreneurs to promote small businesses, create new jobs and support workforce development and training initiatives in urban communities; provided, that the program shall be administered by the executive office of economic development; and provided further, that funds may be used for planning grants to local housing authorities and municipalities in urban areas to develop new affordable rental or homeownership housing ....................................$2,500,000.
