Child Care Financial Assistance

Messrs. Payano, Gómez, Collins, Mark, Kennedy, Driscoll, Moore, Eldridge, Keenan and Lewis, Ms. Edwards, Mr. Fernandes, Ms. Rausch, Messrs. O'Connor, Cronin and Montigny and Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2F, in item 1596-2452, provided further that not no less than $30,000,000 shall be expended to reduce the waitlist of the child care financial assistance programs administered by the department of early education and care"; and further by striking the figure “$98,000,000”, and placing in place thereof the figure "$128,000,000"
