Teach for America

Messrs. Payano, Collins and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7061-9408, by inserting the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for the recruitment and training of educators offered by Teach for America Massachusetts to expand the teacher corps to address teacher vacancies in high need public schools and to close achievement gaps”; and by striking out the figure “$16,454,430” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$16,554,430”.
