Messrs. Cronin and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8100-1004, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for costs associated with forensic genetic genealogy DNA to be used to help solve violent crimes, identify unidentified human remains, process sexual assault evidence kits and support cold case investigations; and by striking out the figure “$32,785,951 ” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$33,286,951”.
