Modernizing Kennel Recordkeeping Requirements

Mr. Pease of Westfield moves to amend the bill by striking out section 17 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

SECTION 17. Paragraph (2) of subsection (b) of section 137A of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words:-

"maintain records of individual dog licenses, as required in section 137, for all dogs in its care"

and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

maintain records sufficient to identify each dog in its care and the owner of such dog.
