Free Period

Mr. O'Connor, Ms. Edwards, Messrs. Crighton, Tarr and Rush, Ms. Rausch and Ms Howard move that the proposed new text be amended  in section 2A, in item 1596-2517, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to Weymouth public schools to be administered to provide free feminine hygiene products within public school buildings in partnership with the program known as Free Period"; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$600,000”.
