Second Worcester Education Projects

Mr. Moore moves that the proposed new text be amended  in section 2A, in item 1596-2517, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $70,000 shall be expended to the Auburn public schools for capital expenses; provided further, that not less than $130,000 shall be expended to the Grafton public schools for capital expenses; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended to the Millbury public schools for capital expenses; provided further, that not less than $5,000 shall be expended to Millbury public schools for costs associated with vocational programming in partnership with the North Atlantic States Carpenters Union including, but not limited to, equipment, supplies and other education materials; provided further, that not less than $82,500 shall be expended to the Shrewsbury public schools for capital expenses; provided further, that not less than $12,500 shall be expended to the Westborough public library for capital expenses; provided further, that not less than $45,000 shall be expended to the Worcester public schools for the Latino Education Institute’s capital expenses”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$570,000”.
