Low Volume Bag User Exemption

Messrs. O'Connor, Montigny and Fattman move that the proposed new draft be amended in lines 874-877 by striking out the words “ (e) A business with not more than 1 store location with an area of not more than 4,000 square feet of retail selling space and not more than 10 employees, and which provided not more than 10,000 carryout bags in total during the previous calendar year, shall not be required to collect or remit bag fees as otherwise set forth in this section,” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

(e) A business which provided not more than 25,000 carryout bags in total during the previous calendar year, shall not be required to collect or remit bag fees as otherwise set forth in this section.
