DCR ranger enforcement to improve park safety and enjoyment for all users

Mr. Lewis moves that the proposed new draft be amended in section 8, by striking out, in lines 632 to 635, inclusive, the words “, regulation or issued or promulgated pursuant to this section, including, the use, occupation or alteration of department property without written authorization as required by the department or for noncompliance with such written authorization” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “or regulation promulgated pursuant to this section, including: (i) the use, occupation or alteration of department property without written authorization as required by the department or for noncompliance with any such written authorization; (ii) defacing department property; (iii) littering; (iv) disposing of household or commercial garbage or refuse in a trash barrel on department property; and (v) requirements for cleanup of pet waste and the leashing of dogs in any area not designated for off-leash dogs”.
