Winthrop Tree Planting

Ms. Edwards moves that the proposed new draft be amended in section 2C, in item 2000-7089, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to the Winthrop tree committee for planting trees to reduce heat island effects and combat climate change and soil erosion"; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$350,000”.
