Local Project Reporting

Mr. Rush moves that the proposed new draft be amended by adding at the end the following section:-

"Section 90. (a) Upon final passage of legislation which expends money to or authorizes bond funding for the department of conservation and recreation, the department shall assess any funding that was directed to a project as the result of a legislative amendment.

(b) Within 1 year of the final passage of legislation which expends money to or authorizes bond funding for the department of conservation and recreation, the department shall issue a report to the legislator who filed the amendment containing the following:

(i) a summary of all work that has been completed related to the project outlined in the amendment

(ii) information related to the costs associated with project

(iii) the status of any unexpended funds resulting from the amendment

(c) The provisions of this section shall take effect upon its passage"
