Improving Indoor Air Quality

Mr. Gómez, Ms. Comerford, Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Edwards, Messrs. Collins and Keenan, Ms. Miranda, Mr. Oliveira, Ms. Howard, Messrs. Rush, Driscoll, Eldridge, Moore and Brady, Ms. Jehlen, Messrs. Payano and Feeney, Ms. Lovely and Ms. Creem move that the proposed new draft be amended in section 2A, in item 2200-7027, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $5,000,000 shall be expended for a pilot program to be administered by the department, in consultation with the department of public health, to identify and monitor indoor air pollution and indoor mold contamination in areas which shall include, but not be limited to, schools, municipal buildings, correctional facilities, state-owned or managed health care facilities, childcare centers and public housing ”; and by striking out the figure “$27,800,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$32,800,000”.
