Low-Noise, Low-Emissions Electric Landscape Equipment

Ms. Creem moves that the proposed new draft be amended in section 2C, in item 2000-7076, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $2,000,000 shall be expended for capital grants or other financial assistance to be administered by the executive office of energy and environmental affairs, in consultation with the department of agricultural resources, to support municipalities and small businesses transitioning from gas-powered nursery and landscape machinery and maintenance equipment to low-noise, low-emissions electric equipment”; and by striking out the figure “$20,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$22,000,000”.
