Hecla Street Bridge Rehabilitation in Uxbridge

Mr. Soter of Bellingham moves to amend the bill in Section 2C, in item 2000-7089, by inserting after “projects” the following: - “; provided that not less than $2,500,000 shall be expended to the town of Uxbridge for the repair, rehabilitation and fortification of the Hecla street bridge over the West river, including the construction of a bridge slab to span the existing stone arch to mitigate structural degradation, address its status as a scour critical structure and restore full weight-bearing capacity for emergency apparatus and public travel.”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$2,600,000”.
