Amendment #133 to S3064

Hunting Regulation Modernization

Mr. Kearney of Scituate moves to amend the bill in section 2B, in item 2300-0100, by adding the following:-

"; provided further, that the division of fisheries and wildlife shall study and implement modernization of hunting regulations, including the authorization of Sunday hunting, expanded lawful use of crossbows by licensed hunters, and updates to statutory setback requirements, subject to regulations promulgated by the director to ensure public safety, landowner protections and sound wildlife management practices".
